Immunisations

We support the national policy of childhood vaccinations as we believe the benefits far outweigh any risks. You will be sent a reminder to make an appointment when it becomes due. Everyone should have a tetanus booster every 10 years, unless a total of 5 vaccinations have been given, which gives life-time protection.

Flu Vaccinations are available from October each year, we give priority to those over 65 years old or with longstanding diseases such as diabetes, bronchitis, heart disease and asthma. Pneumococcal vaccination is offered on a 5 yearly bases to the same categories of patients.
