Covid-19 Update from the Surgery

Over the past week we have seen an increase in the number of patients coming to the surgery and in order for us to continue to comply with the 2 meter social distancing rules to protect patients and staff we are introducing the following:

Please contact the surgery by telephone or email via our website in the first instance –

Face to face appointments will only be available after you have spoken to the doctor or nurse via a telephone or video consultation.

There will be no entrance to the reception area unless you have a pre-booked appointment.  Please arrive at your appointment time and wait in your car if you arrive early.

Please come to your appointment on your own if at all possible.

Hand sanitiser is available on the left hand side of the foyer, please use this when entering and leaving the building. Even if you are wearing gloves we would request that you still use the hand sanitiser available.

Please check in at reception at your appointment time.

The front foyer of the surgery will remain open for collection of medication but only one person at a time will be allowed in the foyer at any one point.  Please would you wait outside adhering to social distancing rules at all times.

If you have been asked to collect a sample pot these will be available in the front foyer for patients to collect.  A return box will also be available in the foyer and this will be collected by the clinical team to process.  All samples have to be received at the surgery by 11.30am.

If you feel that your enquiry cannot be dealt with over the phone or via the website please phone reception first to be given instructions on how best we can assist you.
