Housebound Patients

All our housebound patients have now been vaccinated

Salisbury City Hall Mass Vaccination Centre

If you have received a letter from the surgery please be reassured we will contact you when appointments are released but if you also receive a letter from NHS England you can book your appointment with the Centre provided on the NHS letter.   If you choose to book your appointment at the vaccination centre, it would be appreciated if you could let the surgery know so we can avoid contacting you again.

Attending For Your Appointment

Please do make sure you keep your vaccine appointment. If you are unable to attend, please remember to cancel as it is very important no vaccines go to waste due to patients not attending for their appointment. Vaccinations appointments are limited and by cancelling your appointment it will allow another patient to be seen.

Clinically Extremely Vulnerable

The latest advice regarding who is included in this group of patients being called is ‘any patient who received the letter at the beginning of the pandemic saying they are one of those vulnerable people who should shield should have the vaccine.’

2nd Vaccination Clinics

We anticipate appointments for 2nd vaccinations will start to be released mid-March.  As soon as the appointments are released we start contacting you.  Please do not telephone the surgery.

Vaccinating People Under the Age of 18 Years Old

No-one under the age of 16 years will be vaccinated.

People aged 16 and 17 can be vaccinated if they come under the category in group 4 and are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable.

Patients who fall within these ages can only be vaccinated with the pfizer vaccination.

Thank you for your offers to volunteer in the clinics, we would not have been able to run them without you!

However, we have reached capacity for volunteers but would welcome vaccinators.  If you are interested please contact the surgery.
