Salisbury City Hall Vaccination Centre Opens

We have been informed the Salisbury City Hall COVID Vaccination Centre has now opened.

Our current understanding is NHS England will send letters to patients that have no record of having received a vaccination and who fall in the Groups as follows:

  • Residents in a care home for older adults and their carers
  • All those 80 years of age and over and frontline health and social care workers
  • All those 75 years of age and over
  • All those 70 years of age and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals

If you receive a letter from NHS England to make an appointment at the Salisbury City Hall Vaccination Centre but you have been contacted by Mere Surgery and already have an appointment booked, you do not need to do anything. The appointments booked at Michael Herbert Hall in Wilton will continue to run alongside the Salisbury Vaccination Centre.

We have written or text patients who now fall into the category of 70 years of age and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals and we will be telephoning you to arrange an appointment at Michael Herbert Hall in Wilton but if you receive a letter inviting you to book an appointment at the Salisbury City Hall Vaccination Centre before we telephone you, you will be able to choose which venue you would like.

Please note you will only be offered the 1st vaccination appointment. Please do not telephone the surgery directly to book an appointment but wait to be contacted either by NHS England for an appointment in Salisbury or Mere Surgery to be vaccinated in Wilton.

Thank you for your co-operation.
